Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Trova’s website and product. By using Trova, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Trova on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.

The service

Trova helps restaurants understand how they appear in AI and local discovery contexts. Typical features include restaurant lookup via Places search, automated visibility scans, competitor observations, scoring, recommendations, and an account dashboard for one or more locations depending on your plan.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as we improve the product. Free or promotional access may be limited or withdrawn.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate information (such as a working email) and keep credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account, including restaurants and scans you create.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security or abuse risk.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the product to harass, spam, or infringe others’ rights
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems, data, or other customers’ workspaces
• Scrape, overload, or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law allows
• Use Trova to generate or distribute unlawful or deceptive content
• Resell or provide the service as your own without our written permission

AI and discovery outputs — important disclaimer

Trova runs diner-style queries and related checks through third-party AI and local discovery surfaces, then summarizes observations and suggested next steps. Those outputs are informational only. They are not legal, financial, marketing, or professional advice. AI systems can be incomplete, inconsistent, or wrong; rankings and recommendations can change without notice. You remain responsible for decisions you make based on Trova results.

Plans, billing, and third-party purchase

Paid plans (if offered) may be billed through Trova or a marketplace partner such as Whop. Fees, renewals, and taxes are described at checkout or in the partner’s purchase flow. Cancellation and refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

Intellectual property

Trova’s branding, software, and site content are owned by us or our licensors. You retain rights to content you submit (such as restaurant details you provide). You grant us a license to use that content as needed to operate the service.

Third-party services

Trova depends on third parties (for example Supabase, Places/map providers, AI providers, hosting, and billing partners). Their availability and policies affect the service. We are not responsible for third-party outages or changes outside our reasonable control.

Disclaimer of warranties

Trova is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that scans will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that visibility outcomes will improve.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trova and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to Trova will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or, if you paid via a partner, the amounts attributable to Trova access for that period). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, limits apply to the maximum extent allowed.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trova and its operators from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
